I had been hesitant to test one thing new as my stove truly liked the Turman. I burned a skid of Northern Max and BOY OH BOY, these pellets held their excess weight! I have the exact warm heat output as I did with Turman and minor to no ash in the least. This pellet is as terrific as Turman, and I will certainly be obtaining much more of Northern M
